Indoor climate research

A healthy indoor climate contributes to the well-being and productivity of building occupants or residents. Unfortunately, the indoor environment can also be negatively affected by factors such as dust, noise, odors, bacteria, and mold. SGS Search conducts indoor climate research in buildings and provides practical solutions.

About the research

As a property owner or employer, you want to ensure a healthy indoor environment and workspace for your building occupants. The construction and technical consultants at SGS Search can quickly and efficiently assess whether the quality of the indoor climate is satisfactory and whether there is a risk of sick building syndrome. We specialize in air quality measurement, dust analysis, and microbiological testing.

Rapid air monitoring with SGS AirSense

Are your residents or employees experiencing symptoms like headaches or dry eyes, and you need a quick indication of potential causes? With SGS AirSense, we can monitor air quality across seven components: humidity, temperature, CO2, particulate matter, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), light, and noise. Within two weeks, you will receive an independent report that provides insight into air quality and potential causes of health complaints.

If you wish to identify trends, SGS AirSense is also ideal for long-term or continuous air monitoring. This allows you to detect variations over time and take action during abnormal periods. For example, you can monitor differences between workdays, nights, and weekends. If desired, you can view the monitoring results in real-time via a personalized dashboard.

Microbiological research

Microorganisms, such as bacteria, mold, and yeast, can multiply and spread rapidly. High standards for hygiene and infection prevention are required in many sectors, including the food industry, hospitality, and healthcare.

Microbiological research determines whether a location meets all applicable standards. Our experienced inspectors collect various samples from workspaces and installations, which are then analyzed in an accredited laboratory. The client receives a report that provides a clear overview of the research results, along with any recommendations and follow-up actions to address contamination sources.

One point of contact

SGS Search has expert research teams and independent laboratories available nationwide. We manage the entire process of indoor climate research and consultation internally, meaning you have a single point of contact and do not need to coordinate with multiple parties. In addition to providing information on air quality, we offer recommendations to improve the indoor climate.
SGS Search is a member of the Binnenklimaat Nederland industry association.
