Asbestos risk assessment
What happens if an asbestos survey has revealed the presence of asbestos in your building? If demolition is not planned, it is sometimes not mandatory to remove the asbestos. A risk analysis can determine whether the asbestos must be removed or if it can safely remain in place.
Identifying Risks
To identify current and potential exposure risks, a certified asbestos inspector from SGS Search will take air and dust samples. These samples are analyzed in the SGS Search laboratory. Our advisors translate the research results into a clear report with practical advice and recommendations. This report also includes the recommended measures if an increased exposure risk is detected.
We can also develop a management plan that includes any necessary usage-restricting measures. This plan describes the steps the client must take to continue using the space safely and outlines any applicable restrictions.
