Batch inspection of soil and dredged spoil
According to the Soil Quality Decree (Besluit Bodemkwaliteit in Dutch), the soil or dredged spoil you intend to use must meet specific requirements. A batch inspection confirms whether the quality of the soil or dredged material is suitable for its intended use. For batches smaller than 50 m³, a batch inspection is often not required.
Sampling
SGS Search’s soil experts collect two representative samples from the batch according to current standards. The samples are then sent to the laboratory for chemical, and sometimes civil engineering, analysis. PFAS substances are also included in the analysis where necessary.
Suspected asbestos?
If a batch of soil or dredged spoil is suspected of containing asbestos, we can include this in the batch inspection.

SGS Search Ingenieursbureau B.V. is certified and recognized to perform these tasks according to BRL SIKB 1000, protocol 1001. Based on the results of the batch inspection, we provide recommendations on the possibilities for (re)use of the material.
